Perma-Grit's abrasive tools cut, sand and shape in any direction. They outlast sandpaper thousands of times and can be used all all the materials, listed below and more. Coarse grit equivelent to UK 180 / USA 60 grit sandpaper.
Angle File
Angle or Tangent hand file COARSE. Excellent anywhere there is a 90° angle needed. The R-201 is approximately 75°, which gives the builder the accuracy needed to shape a 90° angle. Either an 1/8th radius or a sharp corner can be produced simply by rotating the tool. Model builders find this particularly useful for fabricating servo trays, it is also good for cleaning corners and edges on laser cut wood.
Hand File Flat
Flat hand file Coarse. Dims. 230 x 38mm thickness 1.6mm. Useful to get into narrow places where the sanding block is unable to fit. Use to clean up slots, cut outs in former's and general sanding. Use to deburr aluminium, and other jagged edges. For a longer and wider precision flat sander, try the Perma-Grit sanding blocks.
Round Tube File 14mm - 20mm
Round Steel Tube File 14mm (+/-0.5mm), COARSE. Dims approx. 215 x 14 x 14 mm. Tungsten carbide abrasive grit, use to shape arches and curves with precision. No need to glue sandpaper to dowels anymore! These tools are perfect for fillets, and all concave curves. Use to shape or enlarge holes or arches etc. R203C may also be used in a pillar drill as drum sander!
