Penko Platikanov is artist working in the fields of figurative and abstract sculpture. He graduated from the National Academy of Art, Sculpture Department - Sofia, Bulgaria with MFA degree. He now lives in New York City! Penko's Art Studio is located in Long Island City, where he runs the LIC Sculpture School for figurative sculpture and drawing. Since he works in different media, like Bronze, Terra-cotta, Wood, Stone, Iron, Aqua resin and foam, he was able to create a line of clay tools and some great handmade abrasives.
