Brain child of Richard McDermott Miller. It was his favorite method for creating a head sculpture. The pieces of foam and wood are put together to create the head armature. It can be set up in a variety of formats to accomodate the differing facial features. He was famous for his book Figure Sculpture in Wax and Plaster.
