Features & Benefits
- Easy 1A:1B mix ratio by weight
- Reproduces fine detail

- Lightweight for mold shells
- Low shrinkage upon cure
- Fast-setting and slower-setting options
Poly 15-Series Liquid Plastics are high-quality casting resins used for decorative objects, production parts, tools, models, patterns, fixtures, duplicate masters, and mold shells. These versatile materials offer excellent detail reproduction and durability, making them ideal for a variety of applications.
Poly 1511, 1512, and 1512X have the feel and density of wood or thermoplastics. When mixed with PolyFiber II, they create tough, lightweight mold shells.
Poly 15-3 and 15-3X are dense, mineral-filled plastics with low shrinkage, making them ideal for rigid applications.
For water-clear, non-yellowing plastics, consider Poly-Optic® 14-Series.
For spray applications, consider the EasyFlo Series.

Mixing Instructions
1. Ensure Parts A & B are at room temperature before mixing.
2. Weigh and mix Parts A & B in a metal or plastic container (avoid wood or paper to prevent moisture contamination).
3. Stir thoroughly, scraping the sides and bottom to ensure a uniform mixture.
4. Pour immediately after mixing for best results.
5. Use or reseal opened containers tightly to prevent moisture contamination (PolyPurge dry gas can be used to extend shelf life).

Curing & Demolding
- Allow castings to remain in the mold until fully cured to prevent deformation.
- Pre-warmed molds can speed up the curing process.
- Thin castings take longer to cure than thicker ones.
---
Additives & Fillers
- Accelerator: Poly 15 Part X – speeds up cure time (use no more than 1% of total mix weight).
- Fillers: Bronze Powder, PolyFil ND – alters density and cost.
- Thickeners: PolyFiber II – turns liquid into a paste for sculpting.
- Sealers & Release Agents: Pol-Ease® 2300, PolyCoat Sealer, Poly PVA Solution.
---
Color Options
PolyColor Dyes available in Black, Brown, Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, White, and Fleshtone.
Mix up to 0.5% of total weight for most colors, up to 2% for White & Fleshtone.

Finishing & Painting
For outdoor use, parts should be painted or sealed to prevent yellowing and chalking.
Auto body primer helps paint adhesion for long-term durability.
Can be drilled, sanded, and machined with ease.
