White Muslin Coarse Weave (60 x 60) Buffs have a more open weave to hold more compound. Used as a general purpose buff with cutting and polishing compounds. Combed edges do not need breaking in or combing to hold compound. The center pin holes are reinforced with shellac (S) for a tight fit on tapered mandrels and greater durability. Available in 1″, 2″, 3″, 4″, 6″, and 7″ diameters. Made in USA.
Use 1″ and 2″ buffs with A-M78 mandrel mounted in a flexible shaft handpiece at speeds up to 20,000 RPM Max Speed.
Use 3″ and 4″ and larger buffs on tapered spindle of M.BL Lathe at 5,000 RPM Max Speed.
Buffs larger than 4″ CANNOT be used on our lathe or flexible shaft handpieces. They need to be mounted onto larger grinding machines.
