Foam Fusion
Creates a strong bond that's foam-safe!
Our Foam Fusion is the ultimate foam glue for EPS and XPS! It permeates the foam and bonds around its cells. Other glues containing solvents will dissolve foam over time, but our formula is nontoxic and solvent-free. Our glue is not affected by heat or cold as with glue guns, and it does not expand.
It works with most rigid foams including polystyrene foams, like Styrofoam, white beaded EPS foam, and XPS foams (blue and pink board). Foam Fusion bonds foam to almost any porous surface and is easy to apply - simply brush or squeegee on. Apply a very thin layer on each side - it goes a long way.
Features:
- Permeates the foam's cells to create an unbreakable bond
- Can be used to glue most porous surfaces together
- Can be cut through with a Hot Wire tool
- Does not dissolve foam like other glues
- Nontoxic and kid-friendly
Used for:
- Gluing together EPS and XPS foams
- Layering sheets of foam to create larger blocks which can be cut through with Hot Wire tools
- Gluing foam to other porous materials
Instructions:
Coverage:
8 oz = 50 square feet (25 square feet x 2 sides)
16 oz = 100 square feet (50 square feet x 2 sides)
32 oz = 200 square feet (100 square feet x 2 sides)
1 gal = 800 square feet (400 square feet x 2 sides)
*Hot Wire Foam Factory tools will cut through this glue.
For use with XPS:
XPS foam (blue and pink board) sometimes has a plastic "skin" on it, and that will have to be removed before gluing. Sometimes the plastic can be easily peeled off, otherwise lightly sanding the surface should remove enough of the plastic to allow the glue to grip the foam.
What customers are saying:
"I tried the sample of Foam Fusion, looked at it, and thought I could substitute Elmer’s glue for it. When I did my project, I was very sorry I tried the substitution. Two weeks later, the foam pieces were falling apart with the white glue being totally wet like when I poured it. I had the HWFF people explain that Elmer’s (or plain white glue) is air dry, while Foam Fusion is a chemically drying product. I will never make that mistake again, and I wish I had the two wasted weeks back!"
