The Sedona Red Clay is a rich red color before and after firing. It has excellent plasticity for all methods of clay modeling: slab, coil, pinching, and even wheelthrowing. Does not slump or warp at low temperatures like other red clays. The firing range can extend up to Cone 02.

AMACO® glazes maturing at Cone 05 can be used with this clay. Colored transparent AMACO® LG, LT, O and A series glazes create unique affects on 67-M
Shrinkage: Cone 06, 11.7%; Cone 02, 13%
Absorption: Cone 06, 7%; Cone 02, 9.2%
Clay in moist form presents no hazard.
Color Range: Cone 05-Red, Cone 02-Rich Red Brown
Suggested Firing Temperature:
- Bisque- Cone 04 1971°F/1077°C
- Glaze- Cone 05 1911°F/1044°C
- Alternate- Cone 05-02 1911°-2052°F/1044°-1122°C
