Green Blue Patinas

Jade Green Patina is a hot or cold patina for bronze, brass, and copper. If applied cold, the color develop into kelly green in about 12 hours. If applied hot, the color will be jade green when used with the Universal Black or Black Dye-Oxide Patinas. The finish should be protected with 2 coats of Clear Guard.

Light Green Patina is a cold patina for bronze, brass, and copper. Apply to a clean, cold (65°-70°F) metal. It will take 2-12 hours to completely react with the metal.

Mint Green is a patina for bronze, brass, and copper that may be applied hot or cold. This patina will create a beautiful green while in the full sun and is recommended when working outdoors on copper roofs and gutters.

Tiffany Green is a cold patina for bronze, brass, and copper. It may be used both indoors and outdoors. If used outdoors, Tiffany Green should be applied in the shade. Once the patina has developed it may be placed in full sun. Tiffany Green will create a bright orange rust on iron and steel.

Traditional Green Patinas are available in 8oz., 32oz., 1 gal., and 5 gal. sizes. Spray tops are included with 8oz. and 32oz. bottles. One gallon of Traditional Green Patina generally covers 200 sq. ft. An alternative green when working outdoors in the sun is the Vista Green Patina.

Sculpt Nouveau Traditional Blue Patinas are a range of blue aging solutions for bronze, brass, copper, and the Metal Coatings. These patinas will rust iron and steel and should not be used on aluminum. To use Traditional Blue Patinas on those surfaces, Prime-It and a Metal Coating should be applied first.

Cupric Nitrate is a classic hot patina for bronze, brass, and copper resulting in a blue green finish. If used on iron or steel, rust will occur. Cupric Nitrate is commonly used over the top of a base patina such as Traditional Liver of Sulfur or Ferric Nitrate Patinas to add more depth and contrast to the finish.

Powder Blue is a cold patina for bronze, brass, copper, and the Metal Coatings. This patina results in a stable opaque finish close to a bright ocean blue. Because of its stability once dry and sealed, it is a good choice for outdoor work. However, it should be applied indoors and requires at least 24 hours to develop.

Original Blue is a cold patina for bronze, brass, copper, and the Metal Coatings resulting in a light, pale blue to turquoise finish. Like the Powder Blue Patina, it should be allowed to develop for 24 hours before sealing.
