A general-grade, brown-red tinted sculpture wax formulated for painting and slush casting. It features low viscosity and excellent flow, enabling smooth application and fine detail reproduction.
With a melting point around 140°F, Sedona can be processed at lower application temperatures, helping reduce cooling time between coats and minimize shrinkage. Its moderate rigidity offers excellent dimensional stability, making it especially well-suited for large panels and backup applications.
We recommend applying the first coat by slushing at 170–190°F. For brushing applications, the first coat should be applied at 195–210°F. Each subsequent coat should be applied at a temperature 10–25°F lower than the previous coat to achieve optimal results.
