Firmer than our ROMA No. 1 and No. 2, this oil- and wax-based modeling clay still retains its pliability when worked by the artist. Because of this hardness, ROMA Plastilina No. 3 - Medium-Firm is the preferred choice among those sculptors modeling smaller pieces such as bas-reliefs, doll heads and miniature figures. Design mock-ups can also be easily sculpted as well as using it for detail work. Many sculptors use this clay over ROMA No. 1 and ROMA No. 2 when working on facial features.
This clay will not harden since it does not contain water and is not adversely affected by heat.
ROMA Plastilina No. 3 does contain sulfur. Color: Grey-Green. Packaged Case/20 2-lb. units/40 lbs.
