ROMA Plastilina is a permanently pliable clay modeling material developed by Sculpture House in the 1940's. This oil- and wax-based clay, which contains sulfur aiding in its smoothness, is primarily used in sculpting portrait heads, busts and figures. This particular consistency, No. 2 Medium, is the favored consistency of professional and amateur sculptors alike.
ROMA Plastilina never hardens since it does not contain water and is not adversely affected by high temperatures. As an added benefit, the clay becomes more pliable the more you use it.
ROMA Plastilina No. 2 can be scraped from molds easily during your mold making and casting process.
