These handmade carbide tipped points are specially made for limestone. The tips are scalloped especially for removing the maximum amount of material with the utmost of speed.
I used this wonderful carbide chisel point while attending the Indiana Limestone Symposium in June 2018. It is positively incredible and eats thru stone! I have a regular steel point chisel and this carbide tip point surpassed it. I ordered one of these while at the Symposium and eagerly await when mine is finished and mailed to me. I had the opportunity at the Symposium to use the "ILS" student set for us beginner hand carvers. I should have ordered the straight carbide chisel also. Darn! But I did order this chisel and the 3 tooth carbide chisel.
